A secret has been exposed!!!
Yes dear listener.. it is but too true for this evening it has been revealed that my dear friends L & B... who each personify the meaning of lovely... have a dark secret.
They are... (pause for dramatic effect) ... Internationally Renowned Lavender Smugglers!!!
Now sure... L was certainly doing a fantastic impersonation of someone completely unimpressed with the ittybitty bits of lavender that were spilling from B's bag allllll over the floor. And B had a fairly plausible excuse when caught removing excess quantities of lavender from throughout his luggage... but I wasn't fooled.
B had just returned from a business trip to Wales and had tossed in a sachet of lavender from the hotel... which had subsequently burst in mid-air... scattering oooooodles of lavender in every crevice of the interior of his bag, his clothes, his smalls etc.
Certainly room for reasonable doubt there...
IF... he wasn't a Horticultural Wizard of the highest order...AND... a big fan of a TV series here that shows people being caught in Australian airports with quarantine-able naughties in their luggage!!!
