Curiouser and curiouser
The fun thing about using a site meter is seeing where your listeners are from, how often they visit etc. (By the way... those listeners who say they never visit but clearly do? Well... I can seeeeeeeeee you!!)
Something that's even funnerer though... (funnerer? you'd never think english was my third language.. right after martian and monkey of course!).... is seeing how visitors arrive at our blogs via that fabulous public transportation device known as the search engine.
This week's glance over the site meter has included....
From Yahoo! ... 'crab livers', dating Barbra Streisand' and 'paperflower making'
From Alta Vista... 'Indian Ring-necked Parrot', '7 deadly sins' and 'munchkins'
but it's clearly at Google where the ummmm hmmmm ok let's say the more 'unusual' searches come from including... 'blue monkey balls', 'spanking the monkey' and one I dare not even contemplate.... 'how to get monkey cappuccino'!!
You don't even want to know what someone typed into the box at Ask Jeeves to find us!
