The Nightmare Begins........
Well... my sanity (such as it is!) will be on temporary hiatus for the next two weeks. Yes.. it's school holiday time once again. Egad! I hear you say? Yes it's true. Munchkins 1 and 2 are 'home for the holidays' and have gotten off to a flying start this morning by waking me at 5am! Waking me right up that is and then falling asleep again themselves in the big bed with me. This rendered any further snoozies on my part impossible as I was squished in the middle with a teeny Munchkin elbow in my left nostril and a not so teeny Munchkin knee lodged in the small of my back. Jack Kitty has already hidden himself away somewhere and we're only a few hours into holiday time. He's got the right idea!!!!! Pity I can't hide under the buffet with him!! Our holidays do have a slightly sad undertone however. The Munchkins are still mourning the loss of our dear rabbit Smoochy Bunny who passed away a week or so back after being very sick. Munchkin 2 in particular is very lonely without her friend. Munchkin 1's bright idea is for us to see about a new addition to the family..... something furry .. with four legs... and lots of drool!!! So stay tuned dear listener.... who knows??? The sound of galloping galloptic puppy legs may resound through the blog very soon :D:D
